Monitoring
-It can be used in conjunction with blue sticky trap.
-Put 1 western flower thrips pheromone lure per trap.
-Trap density: 1-2 trap/da.
-The traps must be placed 10-15 cm above the crop with wire or rope holders, and must be raised as the crop grows up.
-Traps are hung at the beginning of the growing season.
-The traps must be checked on a daily basis, and after the first adults have been captured, the traps must be checked every week. Trap is replaced when the number of captures is really high or when the sticky traps becomes really dirty from the dust.
Mass trapping
-It can be used in conjunction with blue sticky trap.
-As soon as the first adult thrips captured in monitoring trap, the traps are hung intensively at regular intervals.
-Trap density: 5 trap/da.
